France 4-3 Argentina (Round of 16, Russia 2018)

Brazil were so confident of success that the morning papers were hailing them ‘world champions’. However, Uruguay responded well and turned the game around from a deficit to a victory.
Brazil 4-1 Italy (Final, Mexico 1970)
In a tournament that saw Pele cement his legacy as one of the greatest players of all time, the 1970 Brazil team cruised to glory and ended their memorable tournament with a 4-1 victory over Italy in the final at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico.
Both nations were vying to lift the Jules Rimet Trophy for a third time, but with the brilliance of the legendary Pele, Brazil produced a class act to win the 1970 World Cup.
Italy 3-2 Brazil (Spain 1982 Second Round)
Rossi was heavily criticised in his home country in the 1982 tournament, having returned from a two-year ban for match-fixing.
